What if you were one of the 20,000 tenanted or independent on-traders who couldn't take advantage of a corporate's HR department course?
We proposed the idea of a generic course to the world's largest wine company.
The World of Wine is a basic wine course which covers what wine is, how to care for it, how to sell more and how to taste and enjoy it. It is intended for everyone who sells to the customer, not simply pub and restaurant managers.
Elements working together
We put together a 'train the trainer' session which is a two hour presentation and is intended to allow a representative of the pub or restaurant to take knowledge and enthusiasm back to their colleagues who will also be learning the World of Wine. They are then in a position to mentor and drive the programme through.
We wrote the World of Wine course book. This is a 100 page book which, while aimed at a wide readership, is targeted mostly at the 18 - 28 age bracket. It is therefore informative but lively in it's style. Each section includes a self test 'Learning Check'.

We then created and supplied all of the photography. Using our in-house DTP facilities, we were able to take it through all of the layout, artwork and and final proofing stages before delivery to the printers.
We produced the World of Wine course DVD. Filming in the client's Californian vineyards, we were able to bring all of the 'colour' and excitement of wine directly to viewers. From a guided tour of the winemaking process, to 30 interactive tastings, the DVD includes everything that the course book does but bought to life the way only TV can. As well as presenting and filming the DVD, we managed the edit process and supplied all of the artwork such as on-screen titles and DVD cover.
We took the World of Wine course book and converted it into a web site.
Finally we compiled the exam which users can take to obtain the World of Wine certificate. This exam is both endorsed and administered by the British Institute of Inn-keepers.
So you can see that from original concept to final delivery of all of the parts, we are able to handle every stage in-house. We like to be a 'One-Stop-Shop'. We like to be very cost effective and very efficient.
